August of 2008, Electronic Arts Inc. and I-Play Online Games Incorporated (X-Play) announced that they will be releasing NBA Street Online here in the Philippines, but 5 months later, there is no clear word yet as to the release date of NBA Street Online in the Philippines. A a joint venture between online gaming publisher IP E-Game Ventures Inc. (IP E-Games), and GMA New Media Inc. (GMA-NMI) has secured an exclusive license in the Philippines for the operation of the highly anticipated EA SPORTS title - NBA STREET Online.

NBA STREET Online is a real-time online mid-session game (MSG) of EA’s phenomenally popular NBA franchise games series, featuring fast-paced street basketball action with today’s biggest NBA superstars, all in true-to-life detail.
Hopefully, EA, IPVG and GMA will try to clear out the release date so as every gamer who is waiting for the said game will not left hanging. Since there is no clear release date yet, NEXT GAME PLEASE!
